One kind of neat thing about going through Hana is seeing all of the tropical fruits grow in the wild. One of the trails we walked down smelled like rotted fruit, because mangoes and avocados had over-ripened and fell off of their trees. They were rotted and squashed all over the ground. If I had only gotten there earlier, I could have made some guacamole!
