A view of the beach from a trail in the park area. After this, we continued on to the Seven Sacred Pools at Haleakala National Park. Again, they were so crowded, it was difficult to get a good picture. At that point, we were tired, dehydrated and kind of done for the day, so I don't think we made much of an effort to get a great shot! The only tourist advice I give you is to go to the bathroom somewhere other than that area – the bathrooms looked so Third World, I held it in until we got home. I'm not kidding!
