One tricky thing about snorkeling at this beach, is there are tons of coral and rocks right off the shore, and you cannot see them above water unless you are wearing polarized sunglasses. The key is to get your head (with snorkel mask) underwater as quickly as you can, so you can watch where you step. Before learning this, I thought I stepped on a turtle and freaked out (turns out it was just a rock like the ones in this picture).
