Chris wanted to make sure we hopped over to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor on our trip out there. He had read that the seawater was causing such a rapid erosion on the USS Arizona, that it may be gone within 10 years. For that reason, we wanted to have the opportunity to view such an important monument in our nation's history. The key to getting in to see the Arizona is to get there early. We got there before the memorial opened, and the line grew rapidly. To see the Arizona, they take you out in groups via a ferry. Since we got there early, we were fortunate to get one of the earlier ferries.
