Italy was our first (and so far only) real trip out of the country. We spent 2 nights in Milan (the first and last nights in Italy), 4 nights in Florence, 3 nights in Rome, and 2 nights in Venice. We also took a day trip to the Cinque Terre from Florence, which is some of the most beautiful country side I have ever seen along the Italian Riviera. We are hoping to do a trip like this every few years, as there are several other countries we would like to explore.
