Maui at Sunset. The cloud cover is very interesting in Maui.  For an island that is only 727 square miles, they have a wide range of climates.  For example, Lahaina and Ka'anapali beach typically get only 16-20 inches of rain a year, whereas upcountry (the north side of Haleakala volcano) receives around 360 inches of rain annually.
