Well, we're back from Italy, and the trip was absolutely the best vacation we've ever had. We basically decided this was our real honeymoon, since we never really took one after getting married (hanging with the family isn't what I think anyone would call a honeymoon). I've already posted the photo gallery, and we're working on a detailed travel log as well.
We did run into a couple of problems during the trip, with the largest of them being flight problems. We ended up sending a letter of complaint to US Air, but we have yet to hear anything back from them (I'm guessing we won't). We also ended up getting some rather severe sinus infections the second week we were there. Trying to explain to a pharmacist that barely speaks English what you need when you speak even less Italian is somewhat problematic. Finally, we didn't realize how expensive everything is in Italy. We ended up being about 30% short on cash, so I had to get a cash advance on my credit card (which was a bit difficult to setup since I didn't have a PIN prior to leaving the states).
